“The Importance of Rehabilitation”
Many brain tumor patients and survivors of previous brain tumors can be helped through the use of various rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation incorporates physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cognitive therapy and other modalities that can be implemented to improve functioning and have a positive impact on Quality of Life. Dr. Cooperman, a board certified physiatrist (a physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation) is the Medical Director of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls. Join us for an informative presentation! After Dr. Cooperman’s presentation, he will be available to answer individual questions from members of our brain tumor support group.
Everyone is welcome, we hope you'll join us!
